Job Summary

As a commercial lawyer he/she will review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and will advise on corporate and commercial matters and identify commercial risks associated with business operations, their potential impact and suggested mitigating actions.

Duties & Key Tasks

To provide legal advice and support to the company which includes, but not limited to, the following:

·         drafting various commercial agreements.

 Registration of companies and liaise with agent regarding incorporation of offshore companies.

·         register the company, and the company’s affiliates companies, intellectual property.

·         managing Litigation & Disputes files and coordinate with external counsel.

·         update the company with all new laws and regulations pertaining to the company’s business. 

·         any other task as may be requested by the head of legal department from time to time

Other Functions & Responsibilities

·         Stay abreast of legal developments affecting the company and incorporate it into the company’s practices.

·         Represent company’s interests and liaise directly with external counsel

·         Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts for medium to complex

·         Help develop, and understand, risk mitigation strategies for contractual risks

·         Counsel, advice, and consult the business based on accurate interpretation of contract documents and the facts of the underlying business/transaction

·         Develop internal guidelines, toolkits, and packaged knowledge on various legal and business issues.

·         Deal with multiple work projects

 Required Qualifications & Experience

• Law degree from a reputable curriculum
• Fully qualified lawyer with 5+ years experience.
• Experience in negotiating different types of contracts
