Rashad Yusuf Abdulla Janahi – Managing Director

Mr Janahi is one of the founders of ADIH. Previously, he had been a banker at HSBC Private Bank in Dubai and Geneva, where he developed and strengthened relationships with high net worth individuals in the GCC, Jordan, Pakistan and beyond. Additionally, he was a manager in the Investment Placement and Specialised Fund of Al-Baraka Islamic Bank, one of the first and the largest Islamic bank to be established in the Gulf region. Prior to that, Mr. Janahi was at Bahrain-based investment bank, Securities and Investment Co. (SICO), Arab Islamic Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. In addition to his role at ADIH, he is currently Chairman of British School Bahrain; a Director on the Board of Khaleeji Commercial Bank and a Board Member of Vision ³, a strategic alliance between Gulf Finance House, Ithmaar Bank, and ADIH. Mr Janahi was also a notable speaker at numerous international events such as the World Economic Forum’s – Summer Davos, Dalian 2009.

Mr Mattar comes with more than 18 years of experience as an international investment banker serving multilateral, corporate and financial institutional clients. Until his appointment as Acting CEO of ADIH, Mattar was Chief Investment Officer at ADIH where he played a most active role in helping position the firm within the international market. He held leadership positions before joining ADIH including being an Advisor and Partner at Capital Growth Management (CGM) in Bahrain and at BBK (Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait) where he managed investment portfolios as well as served as an Advisor/Shareholder in several family business firms and private equity/venture capital funds.

Mr Al Nusuf has a strong track record as a private banker with ADIH - where he developed and strengthened relationships with numerous high net-worth individuals, institutions and governmental agencies. He is also Chairman of the Lagoon and Sunset Hills in Bahrain; a Director of Qatar Entertainment City as well as India Entertainment City. Prior to joining ADIH, Mr. Al Nusuf was a corporate banker at Ahli United Bank where he focused on the financial sector, manufacturing industry and trading companies.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, USA, Mr Taha worked as Group Financial Controller of a Qatari-based Investment and Real Estate firm. He also held high management positions where he led various departments, including operation, treasury, cash management as well as involvement in investment portfolio management. Additionally, Mr Taha has over 10 years of experience working with KPMG and Ernst & Young.

Karim Sehnaoui - Acting Chief Investment Officer, GM ADIH Geneva

Mr Karim Sehnaoui joined Abu Dhabi Investment House as Acting Chief Investment Officer and General Manager of the Geneva Office. Prior to his joining ADIH, Karim Sehnaoui was Director, Business Development, in the office of the Chairman and the CEO at Ithmaar Bank, where he helped lead the group’s efforts in new sectors such agribusiness, healthcare, renewable energy and infrastructure. Mr. Sehnaoui spent several years with the World Bank Group, including the International Finance Corporation, focusing the MENA region. Mr. Sehnaoui also held the role of Executive Director of the Arab Business Council of the World Economic Forum, managing various multi-stakeholder initiatives in health, education, infrastructure and finance. Mr. Sehnaoui holds a Bachelor and a Masters of Engineering, from McGill University. Mr. Sehnaoui was also a Global Leadership Fellow of the World Economic Forum.

Ms Al Nusuf has over 10 years experience in advertising, brand management and media. Prior to joining ADIH, she was Head of Corporate Communication at BBK (formerly Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait) where she led the revamp of the Bank's identity as well as its market repositioning. Additionally Ms Al Nusuf held the role of Mobile Marketing Communications Manager at Batelco (Bahrain Telecommunication Company), where she was responsible for the marketing communication of prepaid and postpaid mobile, mobile data as well as retail campaigns. Additionally, she helped in the rebranding of Batelco prior to the entry of the 1st mobile competitor. Noora was also a member of the AMEX Middle East Marketing team.
